7 Days | 6 NightsMount Kilimanjaro trekking Via Machame Route
Trekking Overview
The Machame Route known as “Whiskey Route” it has been distinguished as the most picturesque climbing route globally, celebrated for its stunning trails, magnificent views of Mount Meru, and the impressive Barranco Wall. The route is also noted for its well-maintained paths. Its unique feature is that it commences and concludes on different sides of Mount Kilimanjaro, providing a more comprehensive and enriching experience compared to other routes.
Although the Machame Route can be completed in 6 days, we recommend extending your trek by an additional day to allow for better acclimatization. This extra day enhances your chances of reaching the summit and helps mitigate the risk of altitude sickness. Should you choose to follow this recommendation, the additional day will be utilized to traverse from Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp, aligning with day 5 of the Lemosho Route.
