From the moment our guide picked us up at the airport until we were dropped off 12 days later, we felt completely in excellent hands. While thrilling at times, we never felt unsafe and we learned far more about Tanzania and its incredible wildlife than we ever expected.Our guide went out of his way to point out new and interesting bird species, sharing an amazing depth of knowledge. He had excellent reference books for anyone wanting to learn more and was exceptional at spotting wildlife even animals hidden hundreds of feet away in the trees while explaining their behavior in fascinating detail.He also gave us insight into everyday life in Tanzania and took us to a local flea market, where, as the only tourists, it felt special to experience this authentic local event.
