There aren’t many vacations that exceed expectations, but our safari with Mwanamshiki Tours & Safaris truly did. From the moment our guide picked us up at the airport until we were dropped off 12 days later, we felt completely in excellent hands. While thrilling at times, we never felt unsafe and we learned far more about Tanzania and its incredible wildlife than we ever expected.Our guide went out of his way to point out new and interesting bird species, sharing an amazing depth of knowledge. He had excellent reference books for anyone wanting to learn more and was exceptional at spotting wildlife even animals hidden hundreds of feet away in the trees while explaining their behavior in fascinating detail.He also gave us insight into everyday life in Tanzania and took us to a local flea market, where, as the only tourists, it felt special to experience this authentic local event. The lodges we stayed at were all very comfortable and the staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.We compared quotes from other operators and found Mwanamshiki Tours & Safaris very well priced, with the added benefit that they are locally owned, so our fees directly supported the local economy. We highly recommend Mwanamshiki Tours & Safaris and if we ever return to Tanzania, we will choose them again without hesitation.

 Verified The magical journey of the Serengeti
The tour company was very well grounded, the guide was conscientious, patient and very professional, he was always quick to capture the movement of the animals and lead us to the best filming spot, the trip was very chatty, like we introduced the Serengeti all kinds of fantastic stories, the local humanities, the hotel meals were very good, and we would come to the Serengeti again. I, and my family just returned from an incredible 20-day remarkable safari through Kenya and Tanzania and it truly the most memorable adventure. Every day we have meet a new breathtaking landscapes, fascinating wildlife and beautiful moments that remain in our lifetime.We started our journey in immersive Kenya, exploring the Maasai Mara, where we witnessed lions, elephants, giraffes and even the Great Migration. The endless plains were stunning and our children were amazed to see so many animals up close in their natural home. Meeting the Maasai people and learning about their traditions was a highlight that gave us a deep appreciation for their culture.At Amboseli National Park, we enjoyed spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds while watching herds of elephants roam freely it was a magical scene we’ll never forget. We then relaxed by Lake Naivasha, taking a peaceful boat ride among hippos and birds, which was a wonderful family experience.Crossing into Tanzania, the adventure continued in Serengeti National Park, where every game drive felt like a dream come true. We saw cheetahs, leopards, wildbeest migration and even a family of lions with cubs all while surrounded by the vast, golden plains that make the Serengeti so famous.The Ngorongoro Crater was another unforgettable stop descending into the crater felt like stepping into a different world filled with wildlife at every turn. Tarangire National Park amazed us with its giant baobab trees and huge elephant herds, while Lake Manyara offered lush scenery and playful monkeys in the forest.In Arusha, we enjoyed a city tour that showed us the local life, colorful markets, and friendly people before continuing to Gombe National Park for a once-in-a-lifetime chimpanzee trekking experience. Walking through the rainforest to see the chimps in their natural environment was both thrilling and educational for the whole family.Finally, we ended our trip in Zanzibar, where we spent peaceful days relaxing on the beach, exploring the old town and enjoying the island’s crystal-clear waters and delicious food. It was the perfect way to unwind after so many days of adventure.Everything was perfectly organised from the comfortable family lodges to our friendly guides who were so knowledgeable and patient with our kids. We always felt safe, well taken care of and inspired by everything we saw.This 20-day safari was more than just a vacation; it was a family journey filled with discovery, learning and connection. It has been almost 3 days since we returned from our safari. Mwanamshiki Tours and Safaris hap made out our safari excellent from the point of inquiries to the last drop. We went 10 days safari including northern circuit top destinations Serengeti, ngorongoro, tarangire, lake manyara, and materuni waterfalls. Then going to Gombe national park for trekking was very wonderfully the we last our adventure in Tanzania through Zanzibar island. For the first time, after requesting our journey, Sadick replied to us very quickly through both WhatsApp and email and arranged our 12-day adventure, which included a safari, chimpanzee trekking and a Zanzibar holiday. The excellent service we received from the first day  exceeded our expectations.

We had a good vehicle with charging sockets and a high roof and we enjoyed hot food throughout the trip. The accommodations were well selected in all aspects, from the safari and chimpanzee trekking to Zanzibar.

Our guide, Daniel, was humble and very experienced in searching for wildlife. We even found a rhino, which is a rare case.

We just returned from an incredible 7-day safari across Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti National Park, and we are still buzzing with excitement! Our group of five had an experience of a lifetime flawlessly organized, deeply memorable, and filled with breathtaking moments.

The true hero of our journey was our amazing guide, Daniel. From day one, he made us feel safe, welcomed, and completely immersed in the magic of the African wilderness. Daniel’s knowledge, passion, and sharp eyes ensured we didn’t miss a thing. Thanks to him, we proudly spotted ALL of the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and even the elusive rhino alongside countless other animals and birds. Every day brought a new surprise, and every game drive felt like stepping into a live nature documentary.

Daniel also went above and beyond during our downtime, he took us to a local shopping center and a couple of small museums, adding even more depth to our cultural experience. We also stopped by a Maasai village, which offered a glimpse into traditional life. It was interesting, though it felt a bit touristy perhaps better suited for those particularly curious about local culture.

The accommodations were outstanding throughout the entire trip. Comfortable, clean, and nestled right in the heart of nature especially in the Serengeti, where the views and atmosphere were simply magical.We give the lodges a 10/10!

If we had one small suggestion, it would be to include a bit more storytelling and background about the animals and the parks during the drives it would add an even richer layer to an already fantastic journey.

This was our first safari, and we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Tanzania’s wild beauty. From the first contact to the final drop-off, Mwanamshiki Tours & Safaris handled everything with professionalism, care, and a warm, personal touch. We felt like more than just tourists we felt like valued guests.

We’re heading home with full hearts, incredible memories, and thousands of photos to relive the magic. If we return to Tanzania (and we hope we will!), Mwanamshiki tours & safaris will absolutely be our first call.
