Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Zanzibar ➝ Arusha ➝ Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins with a morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport for a domestic flight to Arusha Airport. Upon arrival, your private safari guide will welcome you with a smile and brief you about the days ahead.
You’ll then depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its towering baobab trees and large elephant populations. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting herds of zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and perhaps lions lounging in the shade. A scenic picnic lunch inside the park lets you dine surrounded by wildlife and nature.
In the late afternoon, proceed to Karatu for a relaxing evening in the highlands.

Day 2: Karatu ➝ Serengeti National Park (Central)

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater ➝ Karatu
Today is a safari highlight! After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to a dense population of wildlife. Spot the Big Five including endangered black rhinos plus flamingos, hippos, and even golden jackals in this self-contained ecosystem.
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch by a hippo pool, then ascend back to the rim and head to Karatu for your overnight stay.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park ➝ Return to Zanzibar or International Departure
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet incredibly diverse ecosystem nestled at the base of the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment. This park is renowned for its lush groundwater forests, vibrant birdlife, and famously elusive tree-climbing lions, which are a rare sight elsewhere in Africa.
